The World of Copland Icon Collection: Volume 5 by Dave Brasgalla, Gedeon Maheux, Corey Marion, Talos Tsui

Once again we visit the "World of Copland" with our 5th volume in the collection. What makes this set of over 60 freeware icons so special this time around? Well, a few months ago we asked our visitors for ideas about what they'd like to see in the next WOC installment. We received a ton of email on the subject, and about 75% of the icons contained in this set are based directly on suggestions from our fans. In addition, we've tried to focus more on every day objects instead of going the total "techno-geek" route. We hope you enjoy this latest offering into the 3D realm of Copland, and thanks to everyone who took the time to write with suggestions, even if your idea didn't make it into the final set.

The enclosed folder contains 63 icons based on the now infamous and defunct Mac OS code named Copland. Probably the most memorable thing about Copland was the distinctive 3D look of the interface's icons. World of Copland:5 continues the trend of the latest and greatest Macintosh hardware, every day objects, removable media and fun stuff. We've also included the 5 icons we created for the 1998 edition of IconPlanet's IconJam festival. The WOC series has become like an old friend to us here at the Iconfactory. We hope you'll enjoy your visit and put these cool, freeware icons to good use.
